Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Our commitment
Apex Transit LLC is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We design and build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical target, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing process — not a one-time checkbox.
Conformance status
This site is actively developed and content is still being finalized prior to public launch. Automated accessibility checks on the homepage currently report strong structural results (including Lighthouse Accessibility 100 on the primary landing experience as of August 2026). Automated tools do not guarantee full WCAG conformance; we also review pages manually and remediate issues as they are found.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure with a single primary heading per page where content is complete
- Keyboard-reachable navigation and focus styles on interactive controls
- Text alternatives on informative images; decorative media marked appropriately
- Sufficient color contrast on primary brand UI components
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motionfor non-essential animation - Form labels, error messaging, and contact paths that do not rely on color alone
Known limitations
Some areas of the site are still under construction or pending final client-approved content. Limitations that third-party reviewers may still observe include:
- Legacy blog and press archive titles/meta descriptions that exceed ideal SEO length (content scaffolding still being refined)
- Large hero video assets optimized for brand presentation; reduced-motion users receive the static poster
- Third-party embeds or future media may introduce temporary gaps until they are replaced with accessible equivalents
- PDF or downloadable documents, if added later, will need separate accessibility review
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and common assistive technologies. We test on modern evergreen browsers. Older browsers may receive a functional experience without every visual enhancement.

Assessment approach
Accessibility is reviewed with a combination of automated testing (e.g. Lighthouse / axe-core class checks), keyboard walkthroughs, and spot checks of primary conversion paths (quote request, agent inquiry, core service pages). Full formal third-party WCAG audits are typically scheduled when site content and structure are feature-complete so findings stay stable and do not need re-work after each content wave.
